The first plants are the untreated plants. The next plants were treated with our bio-genesis fertilizer. The next ones were treated with both frequency and our bio-genesis fertilizer. I started clear back in 1992 looking at frequency and how it affected the seed. We can’t broadcast enough frequency in the field to be effective, but we can expose our seed to frequency. We would treat the seed with frequency; then we’d plant our starts in the wintertime, inside the greenhouse, so we’d get a jump start on them to go into the fields in the spring so that they could take root.

These are the original plants. Plant A did not contain any bio-genesis fertilizer. You can see that the leaf growth is smaller, and the root growth is much shorter. Look at the difference in the leaf and in the root structure just from adding frequency, that’s all. Isn’t that amazing? Then we did just bio-genesis. The leaves are smaller.

Next we tried it without bio-genesis. Finally, we combined the bio-genesis with frequency, and look at the root length. That’s what produces the best quality oil that you have in the world.

How many of you know how long the roots are on alfalfa? They are an average of 21 feet! Why is alfalfa one of the highest plants in natural nitrogen? Because those roots grow deep down, and they bring it up. Why is alfalfa one of the highest plants in nitrogen that converts to protein in your body? Because of that root growth. Why is it high in chlorophyll? Why is it a great antioxidant? Every one of you should be grazing on alfalfa beside the cows and horses. That’s why the root length of our plants from which we obtain essential oils is so important.

I spent years in developing this project, and I haven’t talked about it too much in the last few years because it is an old story. But I realize there are a lot of you here who don’t know this old story of how Young Living evolved and what brought us to where we are today.

Other essential oil companies are not interested in developing farms that are agro-sustainable, both for the environment and for our children’s future. But this is what makes Young Living unique.
