How many of you have ever experienced pain in your life? Have you ever taken painkillers? And then you try to function afterwards. What do they do to your brain? I know about that because after my accident, I was on morphine for three straight years, and then I was on different forms of oxycodone and codeine for seven years. I didn’t know if I was coming or going. It was crazy. I was on antidepressants for seven years because of the terrible depression I was experiencing.

In the accident, I had three open skull fractures, and then I got meningitis lying in the hospital. I had 16 crushed vertebrae, 11 ruptured disks, 19 broken bones, and my spinal cord was herniated in two locations. The surgeon told my parents that if a butcher had taken a meat cleaver and gone down the right side of my body and sheared off every bone, he couldn’t have done a better job than the tree that hit me.

So, I’m back together and I function better than a lot of 40 year olds, and it’s because of the vigor essential oils have brought into my life.
